4/18/2020 Sliders and Wine To Go 5:00-7:00pm 

Our original Sliders & Wine Pairing event had to change. But, like you, we're rolling with the punches and making things happen. This event is a TO GO event. Stop in, grab a bottle of chilled wine, a platter of sliders and viola! Dinner is served.

Our friends from 28 South will be serving three excellent sliders with a bottle of wine!

Each guest will receive:

1 bottle of Edna Mae Chardonnay, Chambourcin, or Sweet Heifer

 

3 sliders created by Chef Jay Zuspan of 28 South: Black Forest ham, bre cheese, and apple butter; Asian pork slider with crispy slaw; and Hand-pattied beef slider with bacon and Palmyra Farms cheddar cheese.

5/10/2020 Brunch at Red Heifer Winery featuring Whistle Punk Farm 10:30-1:00pm

 

Each guest will be served two mimosas made with Red Heifer Winery sparkling wine and offered a choice of two main dishes with four sides prepared by Alexis Holland of Whistle Punk Farm.

  • Option 1- Whistle Punk Farm grilled breakfast sandwich featuring Waltz Family Farm’s free-range eggs, fried, topped with Palmyra Farm’s smoked cheddar, Milk and Honey Farm’s organic spinach, and Whistle Punk Farm’s woodland raised heritage bacon

  • Option 2 - Whistle Punk Farm’s avocado toast featuring an everything bagel, garlic scape butter, Gouda cheese, fresh avocado, and optional Whistle Punk Farm’s woodland raised heritage bacon

Enjoy all 4 sides:

  • Country potatoes - a breakfast favorite showcasing Picket Fence Farm’s potatoes, Piece of Harmony Farm’s onions, and peppers

5/30/2020 Goats, Yoga, and Wine

Can a day be more perfect than to include goats, yoga, and wine? Join us in the beautiful vineyard at Red Heifer Winery with certified yoga instructor Amanda Bowen and her jovial herd of therapy goats from GoattobeZen Yoga.

With your ticket you will enjoy:

   60 minutes of instructor led gentle yoga in the company of adorable goats

   30 minutes of additional goat snuggle time!

6/20/2020 Summer Solstice Folk Music and Artisan Festival 1:00-7:00

The Summer Solstice marks the first day of summer and the longest day of sunshine for the whole year. We will celebrate with a day of live music, local artisans, food vendors, and of course flowing wine!

 

Music will include:

1:00-3:00 Singer/songwriter showcase featuring Music Makers Songwriters

3:15-4:30 Jon Ingels

5:00-7:00 Indian Summer Jars.

 

Artisans include: The Moonshine Forge Blacksmith, Abby's Gluten Free Bakery and Crafts, Pepper & Co. Jewelry, Bohemian Studios

Red Heifer Winery is a proud member of the Maryland Wineries Association. The MWA hosts multiple wine trails over the state, including the Antietam Highlands Wine Trail. Check out MarylandWine.com for information on other wineries near and far from Red Heifer. 

Washington County is rich with agritourism with plenty of pick your own orchards, pumpkin, blueberry, and strawberry patches. Check out Antietam Battlefield or the history along the C&O Canal. Plan a day hike at Catoctin Mountain Park, Cunningham Falls, or along the Appalachian Trail all just minutes from the winery. The Premium Outlets is a short drive away and a great place to find deals on fashion and accessories. The charming town of Boonsboro and the Arts and Entertainment district of Hagerstown feature great places to grab a bite to eat or to stay the night. During your tasting inquire with one of the tasting room attendants or with Kevin or Yvonne and ask for recommendation for places to dine, see, and visit.
